EXPERIENCE WITH THE SHADOW TECHNOLOGY ON THE LAIF LINE

The line was delivered by LAIF ENGINEERING Co.
Mr. Siegbert Voss did the assembly himself together with Mr.Dirk Schüssler.

The leading SW is the most impressive part. Its very user-friendly and demands nearly no commands. Its operated by touch screen. The software is very power-saving, the machine starts by inserting the board in the roller tray of the entry module. The modules are automatically switched on and off as the pcb proceeds.The computer monitors the whole process and only a few error-mesages have been noticed since now.

The results in short:

• ten-times increased productivity
• from stand-by to the start just 15 min. waiting, and 0.5 sq.m. pcb metallized within another 15 min.
• great advantage for express jobs: the boards including the drilling pass to the lightening within half an hour.
• no need for any other preparation before the lightening
• the line needs just 10 sq m space
• material costs of the chemicals lowered by 30%
• saving one employee

A very good machine indeed.
