Optical tester compares the picture from the camera with the virtual picture in the memory, which is created by GERBER data source. The differences are marked as faults. Broken lines, shorts, etching faults, holes in the tracks and shifted motifs are recognized and
-when going over the limit- marked as faults. The defects are marked after the test.

AOI tester is a simple machine and is very easy to operate. The advantage of ARGOS8008 is its low power consumption of 1kW, no consumption of pressed air and a quiet run with only the pc fan as the noise source. The movements are realized by linear motors, which are maintenance free. The MANIA Co. arranged the translation of machine commands into Czech. Small series are typical for our production and the AOI testing needed even shorter time than the preparation of the data for it. We had to prepare the data on two working places at the same time.
